The ZEC Consortium

El Consorcio ZECThe Consortium of the Canary Islands Special Zone (ZEC) is a joint body created by the central Spanish Government and the Canary Islands Regional Government under the auspices of the Ministry of Finance. It is responsible for supervising and advising ZEC Entities and for promoting and providing the services required for the appropriate functioning of the Special Zone and the entities included within it. The Consortium is also responsible for maintaining the Official ZEC Register (ROEZEC).

The ZEC Consortium will undertake the necessary procedures to grant the corresponding authorisations and to subsequently register companies in the ROEZEC.

In addition to its administrative tasks, the Consortium will provide, for all interested parties and ZEC Entities, the necessary human and material resources to assist with the viability of business projects within the ZEC.
