There are a number of centres of research of the first order at the international level which are examples of the support that the Islands wish to give to policies of R+D+i.

  • There are three Science and Technology Parks, which aim to take advantage of the synergies deriving from the concentration of technology companies in a single space.

  • The Canary Islands Institute of Astrophysics (IAC) and the Canary Islands Technological Institute (ITC), leading-edge research organisations.
